Glengarry Glen Ross

Anyone seen this movie? Or even heard of? I haven’t since a couple of weeks ago when  somebody needed to comment for her management course a certain scene from this movie. It’s about a (dream) team of salesman struggling to get better.

Kramer vs. Kramer

It’s not quite obvious to me why some movies are considered to be relevant for some actors. Probably because of the time that’s been released. Because if you see now, in 2012, for the first time one movie like this one, you don’t get that impressed. Especially the five or six academy award winning Oscar it received in 1990, one of them being for the best director. It’s probably for the message it’s sent, feministic and probably changed a lot of marriages. It’s a movie starring Dustin Hoffman, a relatively young ad guy who work’s he’s way up to the company he works for. A small kid at home, a wife (Meryl Streep)… all the ingredients for a great future.
