Only after I&#8217;ve seen some Facebook posts I decided to give it a try. With Netflix offering so many fails (the most recent one being <strong>AVA<\/strong>, which I had to stop towards the middle of the movie) I am cautious about how I choose to spend my time watching something. And no, the rooster is not relevant (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt8784956\/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AVA<\/a><\/strong> again, is a good example). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mosul is from a different category, <em>The Hurt Locker<\/em> category. Sad, violent, and real. + as a bonus, no major Hollywood figure (outside of the production team). Although, some of the faces were quite familiar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mosul | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Z9bw8MGkB-A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Quoting a comment from Youtube<\/strong>: <em>For once, a Mid-East war movie that aren&#8217;t always about navel-gazing US Marines and focus on the local forces fighting ISIS.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>What I particularly like was the transformation of one character (Kawa) in such a short period of time (2h and less than a day in the action).
